The President says that words have meaning.

President Obama made it clear that words mean something. The words spoken in this political climate in fact do mean something. But that meaning is sometimes obscured by the political fog that surrounds just about every issue and topic.

For example, the following shows just how obscured the meaning can be.
“A soldier had to desert his tasty dessert while eating it in the desert. He had to polish his Polish rifle. Having been injured, he earlier had wound a bandage around his wound. Before, he had tried to wind it but the wind was to strong. He entered the medic’s office but was too close to the door to close it. After entering, the Doctor chose to subject the subject to insurance questions and found that the insurance was invalid for the invalid.”

Words do have meanings but in truth, it only matters when the meaning is what one wants it to be. Liberals call conservatives Fascists when conservatives protest the socialist policies of the Liberals. But is truth, the real Fascists were socialists. Remember Nazi Germany.

Liberals sometimes refer to dictators and communists as “Freedom Fighters” and “Men of the people” but refer to American soldiers and the previous President as murderers and baby killers. But in fact, freedom fighters such as Mao, Stalin, Castro and Che have indeed murdered millions including babies while the American military has fought for the freedom of hundreds of millions of people world wide.

Right leaning Conservatives refer to foreign born citizens as immigrants when they have come here legally. They refer to persons from the same country of origin that are here illegally as “Illegal Aliens. Left leaning Liberals refer to all the above as Immigrants, period.

Conservatives do indeed sometimes think the worst of their counterparts on the Left. You will be hard pressed to find any Tea Party members that think President Obama is anything less than a Socialist if not a Communist. They also can be guilty of expecting the worst from Liberals. When the Speaker of the House says, “We have to pass the bill in order to find out what is in it,” those on the Right see it as a grab for power being shielded by the Congress and President by the enormity of it’s size and rush to pass it.

Words do have meaning. The meanings are in reality what the speaker wants them to mean. President Clinton said, “It depends on what the meaning of IS, is”, when we all knew exactly what IS meant. The Liberals refer to Tea Party members as “teabaggers” and they most assuredly know what that means.

Words have meanings and there really is a true meaning to them. They just get mixed up and turned on end at the convenience of the user. A few things to remember never park in on the parkway and never drive on the driveway. Some people have feet that smell and noses that run and while a wise man and a wise guy are two different things, we are all Americans, Left, Right, Liberal and Conservative.

Patriots,
Tea Party Patriots were out in mass today all across this great nation of ours. Thousands and thousand s of you were exercising your constitutional right to freedom and speech and assembly. And all of you true Patriots did it without violence, racism and rioting.

You have awakened and you won’t be lulled back to sleep as you once were. The problems that our nation faces can not be solved by the people in Washington. As every day passes it becomes more and more obvious that they are even less competent they we gave them credit for being.

Today they thumbed their noses at us again by passing an extension to the unemployment benefits. Now I am not trying to be heartless here but some people have been on it for almost a year and a half or more. Isn’t that a little more akin to welfare instead of unemployment? I know that it hurts peoples feelings to say they are on welfare, but, isn’t it?

Those in the administration and in both houses of Congress think that the good ship U.S. America is unsinkable. They think that no matter how much they spend, it won’t matter. President Obama signs bills that double the entire national debt and then turns around and tells us he is cutting spending. Congress adds a trillion dollars to the budget and says it saves us money. They think that there are no consequences to their reckless disregard of the truth, the truth that we are broke and headed for disaster.

The mountain of debt that faces our Republic looms in the distance like a gigantic iceberg. Shrouded in mist, fog and darkness, it stands ready to rip the side out of our nation’s economy. It is so large that there may be nothing that will stop it from sinking all of us if we don’t change course now. Not later.

The elected officials seem to think that our nation is too big to fail. That it is unsinkable. Really? Is it? While our government continues to play the same sad song that they have played over and over, partying on with our money and treasure, the icy cold waters of foreign owned debt are dragging us under. Would we really be the first great empire that disappeared into history, sinking below the waves of time, lost forever?

While you were out protesting today, President Obama addressed a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Miami. In his usual way of belittling everything you are doing, he said, “they should be saying thank you” because of the tax cuts he has signed into law. Really, tax cuts? He went on to say that he was “amused” by the Tax Day Tea Party rallies. He continued to dare Republicans to run on a platform of repealing healthcare reform, telling the audience “they won’t be very successful.”

In his mind, his ship is unstoppable, unsinkable and invincible. He plunges headlong into the fog that neither he nor his supporters seem to notice much less care about. The President and first lady Michelle reported more than $5.5 million in adjusted gross income last year. It is a party for them. Unlike Jack and Rose, they are enjoying the good life for a time, they push the ship faster and faster toward the iceberg ahead, not noticing or caring about you and me, locked below deck by the chains of their making.

Today in history, April 15th 1912, The RMS Titanic sunk at 2:27 AM off the coast of Newfoundland after hitting an iceberg as band played on. Like the band, those in Washington don’t seem to have a clue or seem worried about it. They just want to play the song over and over again and think everything will be alright.

Man the lifeboats fellow passengers. Change the crew before we sink. Keep up the fight.

Recalled To Life

Patriots,

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times,

it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness,

it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity,

it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness,

it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair,

we had everything before us, we had nothing before us,

we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way.”

These are the famous lines which open “A Tale of Two Cities”. The story shows the great contrast between love and family, on the one hand, and oppression and hatred, on the other. I see it as also an allegory for our place and time. Our love for our Republic and our disdain for what it has become.

Everyday it seems as if the left has something else up their sleeves in their push to fundamentally change what have been the most free, the most kind and the most prosperous nation that has ever been on this earth.

Many of us now feel, and in “us” I am referring to those of us that consider the nation and its history to be one of greatness, that our Republic and the future of it and our children are headed for disaster at the hands of those currently in control of it. We are standing up now and paying attention and we are seeing the country as we have known it disappearing from view.

It hasn’t disappeared though as of yet and if we, you and I stand together in this fight, we can change the course it is on. It still can be the best of times as long as we do everything we can to return it to the Constitutional Republic that it was founded on. It is an age of wisdom for us when we are re-learning or learning for the first time just how remarkable our Founding Fathers actually were.

It can still be an epoch of belief in the goodness that the people of the United States have been throughout its life, protectors of the free, deliverers of the oppressed. Sure, we have had our moments of darkness but we have long been a season of Light for the huddled masses longing for freedom. We still are a beacon of hope to the entire world.

The times are tough right now and we have to be ever vigilant in this fight because those that wish to fundamentally change our country are organized and dedicated to their efforts. One thing we need to remember is that those that disagree with us, are not thinking that they are perpetrating an evil deed on us, they believe they are doing right. They feel as passionate and righteous in their ways as we do in ours.

We have to remain true believers also. We know the truth. We believe in the truth. We have to constantly be ready to rally against the changes they wish to make and rebuff those that they already have. We have to get those in office to stand against everything that the President and his Congress are trying to do. We have to be the Party and People of NO! At least for now.

On this day in history, April 14th 1859, Charles Dickens’ published “A Tale Of Two Cities”

“I see a beautiful city and a brilliant people rising from this abyss, and, in their struggles to be truly free, in their triumphs and defeats, through long years to come, I see the evil of this time and of the previous time of which this is the natural birth, gradually making expiation for itself and wearing out. . . .”

We have to help those that are against us in their wearing out. We have to call them on their lies, deceits and dictatorial attitudes towards us. We have to not let them make their gradual atonement through repeated rewriting of our history and deeds. Stand for truth and it is what they will break themselves on.

“It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to than I have ever known.”

Hopefully we will not end as Sydney Carton did in the novel, but if we do; our fight will surely lead to the resurrection of not just our Republic, but the people of The United States of America as well. Stand and Deliver, Fight on Fellow Patriots
