The best things in life free! Oh really.

Barack Hussein Obama said, "I only saw Rod Blagojevich one time ... And that was in the stands and from a distance at a Chicago Bears football game."

One of the best things to come out of the current political situation is the dividing of the incestuous pool of politicians in Washington. Although for years, it has sometimes been difficult to tell a Republican from a Democrat. Those distinctions are becoming more and more discernable everyday.

The most credit for this “parting of the waters” so to speak has come from the election of and the in office performance of, say it with me now, Umm! Umm! Umm! Barack Hussein Obama. With his ascendancy into the Oval Office, no clearer distinction has ever been shown between Demo’s and Repub’s.

Except for a number of Republican RINO’s, “may they soon rest in retirement”, the gulf between them is clear for all Americans to see. People will still continue to defend their parties publicly, even if just to save face for their past indiscretions but they may privately change their ways of thinking and voting.

This doesn’t demean or castigate members or backers from either party. It goes both ways. Case in point, Arlen Spector, Republican then Democrat, soon to be RETIRED! We had the case of Jumping Jim Jeffords, Republican turned “turn coat” Independent. Both of these RINO’s changed party affiliations so they could vote with their true political affiliates, the Democrats. Good riddance.

The same can be said for Former Democrats turning Independent or Republican. Some of the changes are obvious but some as in the case of Joe Lieberman. His was a necessary change to stay in the game only because he still votes as a Democrat. And that is fine. Let him. Its shows his true colors and loyalties and if McCain keeps his seat, maybe he should join Joe.

Bit now we come to Barack Hussein Obama. He has parted the political landscape even better than Moses did the Red Sea. When it comes to people’s political wants and wishes, they are now clear as to which group of miscreants we have as choices to vote for.

They are no longer “all the same” as we used to say. Sure, some of them are for sure but they are both turning from their wicked ways and joining with their parties’ platform or are leaving or being voted out. Yea for the American people! It gives them a clear cut choice. Democrats and their “Government in control of everything, cradle to the grave welfare state” or Republican’s and their “Free market based Capitalism and individual liberties and responsibilities state”. It is now our choice.

Especially in the upcoming elections or 2010 and 2012. Both will be the turning point for this nation. Will we become a government ran welfare debtor nation where individual liberties are lost to the collective mindset. Or will we return to the Republic that our Founding Fathers envisioned. Free to live life as we see fit and free to succeed, even if others chose not to.

Americans are free to make that choice and hopefully they will. The problem is that with the country so closely divided, which side will prevail. But the best thing we have going for us is the President. Mr. Hope and Change. Mr. Transparency. He is in charge and we are free to trust him. We can trust that he is what he claims to be. Or we are free to dig a little deeper and find out what he really is. Humm, let’s think about that for just a moment.

Barack Hussein Obama said, “I only saw Rod Blagojevich one time … And that was in the stands and from a distance at a Chicago Bears football game.” Take a look at the picture and decide for your selves. Be honest with yourself and with others. It is time. And for now, you are free to choose with side you want.
